The Most Desirable of Destinations

From hiking to biking, from Game of Thrones Tours to castles, from golfing to kayaking, County Down has it all.

If it is something a little bit more relaxing that you are looking for, lots of independent retailers line the Main Street of Newcastle, there are numerous cafes and ice cream shops, the iconic Slieve Donald Hotel, the famous Newcastle swans and many fabulous restaurants also await.

County Down has something for everyone, children included; Newcastle is home to Coco’s Adventure Playground and the Tropicana Fun Pool which are all time favourites for children!

Some of our favourite places to walk include Lough Shannagh, Slieve Donard, Tollymore Forest Park , the Trassey Track and The Hare’s Gap. The list really IS endless.

What People Say

‘Clean house in a super location with great walks. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside in the evening in the peaceful and quiet surroundings. We enjoyed the feel of the age in the house and the attached summer house was nice and peaceful for having a chilled hour to read.
Plenty of welcoming aids such as books, tea, biscuits and lots of clean bedding and towels.
We really enjoyed our few days away from everything together and will return.’

– The Reilly Family, July 2020
